This seminar is designed demonstrate various means of creating
texture, dimension, and mood through simple lighting techniques. In
searing daytime sunlight- At midnight- And in all conditions in
between. Stop hiding in the open shade and use the best light
possible. While Cliff is primarily a wedding photographer, his
approach can apply to all genres of photography. Whether its
weddings, portraits, or other types of photography, this seminar
will teach skills that apply to all.
Cliff will share his insight and his vision on how to capture images
that stand out from the competition in this oversaturated
marketplace. He will take you through the specifics of his thought
process while studying different lighting and compositional
scenarios at all times of day. He'll also demonstrate certain
techniques in a hands-on manner to depict how simple his ideas can
be applied.

Bio:
Cliff Mautner’s career in photography spans 26 years. After 15 years
and 6000 assignments as a photojournalist with the Philadelphia
Inquirer, and working for an eclectic array of commercial clientele
ranging from Comcast to Subaru, Cliff launched his wedding
photography career. After 600 weddings, he hasn’t looked back.
He’s been recognized by WPPI as “one of the top photographers and
educators in the world” and has shared his concepts and ideas across
the country speaking for Nikon, Photoplus, WPPI, PPA, Digital
Wedding Forum, and other photographic organizations. He’s perhaps
best known for his ability create quality images in some of the most
difficult lighting conditions encountered. Rangefinder magazine
describes him as having “a freshness and imagination that is new and
important” and is a top Nikon and Nikkor wedding photography
spokesperson. In April of 2008, American PHOTO Magazine named him
one of the top ten wedding photographers in the world.
